No matter the ups and downs, there are some Cryptos i am always accumulating, here they are;
MONERO (XMR)
Everyone knows this one but not everyone owns it. Monero isnt one for volatility (in Crypto terms) , so there is never really a noticeable "dip" to buy. If you speak to anyone who is in the Monero community, they will tell you that Monero is the true vision for Peer to Peer Electronic Payments. Some will also try and convince you the Bytecoin hard fork was created by Satoshi himself.. that claim aside, Monero is secure, private and well built. The unique ring signature technology the blockchain uses has helped hold XMR up above other "Privacy Coins". I am always buying XMR
ETHEREUM (ETH)
Aside from the many positives of the blockchain itself, the release of 2.0 (maybe) , staking and endless other great aspects, none of these are the reason i regularly increase my ETH stack. Although many platforms offer conversions for no fee, or almost no fee, from one coin/token to another, in order to buy into a smaller cap project, or any other project not listed on the big exchanges, you need to have some ETH to use. I find it useful to have 2 seperate wallets, one for my main stack and the other for investing... The latter needs a regular top up
BITCOIN CASH (BCH)
BCH forked from BTC in 2017. It didnt do this quietly and most people, you the reader included, have some pretty strong opinions on its existence and use. I find myself in a grey area on BCH. I see both sides of the debate but i dont really side with either. The community (that i have interacted with) have been pretty helpful with any technical issues i have had or advice i have needed. Without going into a huge amount of depth, BCH offer fairly quick transactions but more than this it is accepted by a lot of online (maybe offline too, not my niche) merchants. Particularly it can be used to buy pc accesories/parts online. Thats what i use it for and thats why i regularly need to buy more!
BITCOIN (BTC)
This one doesnt need too much explaining. Although it has drifted away from its original peer to peer cash payment solution. Its the biggest, its the original and it should be a "must have" for everyone
