ok well asics set up and running well that was frustrating and when i say set up and running one is mining to my account and the other one is mining someone else's credentials I cannot work out how to reset and change and the obvious reset button doesn't seem to work so 50 percent victory lol so to start with download awsome miner as this was the easiest way for me to find the ip address and config page of my miner once powered up and plugged into Internet. Then I also recommend getting aptool from antpool...its a batch miner config program whatever that means but it helps lol
So now the password of your new miner should...should be root same for username root again as mentioned before only one of mine worked. So you may have to reset depending on whether new or secondhand in reflection i would make sure to ask the seller to make sure they are reset to factory settings. I should mention once you have the ip address just type it into your browser search bar as it is. You then are presented with a menu head over to miner config and change the pools to your relevant pool credentials and hit save and apply. If you know what your doing you can mess around with the other settings but i don't so I didn't....anyway your miner should show up on the pool website within a few moments. I should mention using awsome miner you just right click miner...open asic tools followed by open asic Web interface and this will take you directly to miner backstage window. Boom ?? done your now earning roughly (at time of ?) 0.000001676 btc a day..minted. BINANCE have started their own pool so if you have a binance account I suggest use theirs as it will go straight into your pool balance which you can then add to binance savings and earn interest on your coins..also merged mining but thats another story ill get into another time. Anyway anybody struggling fell free to ask and I will try and help best I can..results of this incident is a headache and a little bit more savvy on my road to crypto dominance......maybe but youl defo get the free headache thats guaranteed.
