Wow, what a great NFT auction we had today (5-28-23) from Poly Penthouse. There was a nice turnout and a lot of people were able to take part and place their bid in PPN tokens to try and acquire one of the ultra-special NFTs that went up for auction.
Handsome Minds pulled out all the stops and it seemed like he was trying to collect what may turn out to be a “small continent” worth of Poly Penthouse P3 undeveloped land and Islands
There were some great properties as well as some non-poly penthouse Poly Apes that went out the door. Let us take a look at a recap of the auction and who got what and what they went for!
Auction number one was for a Poly Penthouse Private Island #1
“Handsom Minds” duked it out with “Dave aka Notnormals” with bidding that went as high as 1.2 Million PPN, but, Handsom Minds pulled it out with the 1.2 million PPN bid to win themselves a private island which among other features will allow them to run a business, right from their island!
I suspect that the bidding would have gone much higher if this had not been the first auction of the night! These private islands come from the P3 Land development series where only 1,000 of them were minted. There will be only a few that are to be sold on OPENSEA and then most will be either auctioned or be given as prizes.
Auction number two was for a Polygon Ape Punk #4565
A total of 13 people took place in this very active bidding session to acquire a Polygon Ape Punk. The Polygon Ape Punks are a collection of 10,000 unique ape punks, living on the Polygon blockchain.
Bidding was aggressive from the start, jumping to 275,000 PPN quickly. Even though there were a lot of bidders at the start, it leveled off a bit and finally hit the sold mark at 450,000 PPN, to be won by “Hrtstrings/crustexchange”
Auction number three was for a Polygon Ape Punk #4561
This third auction was for another Polygon Ape Punk. Again, the Polygon Ape Punks are a collection of 10,000 unique ape punks, living on the Polygon blockchain.
The bidding was again fierce and quickly jumped from the initial starting bid of 10,000 PPN to over 200,000 within 4 bids. Apparently, missing out on the previous Ape that was auctioned before this one had some bidders ready to make sure it didn’t happen again. Bids ended up skyrocketing to over 1,200,000 PPN to have a final winning bid of 1.6 million PPN and was snatched up by “Dave aka Notnormals”
Auction number four was for a 1 of 1 Private Island
This is as rare as you can get in the P3 Land Development series. A one-of-a-kind private island. Needless to say the crowd was pumped for this to be offered up and the bidding definitely reflected that.
Bidding started at 20,000 PPN and almost instantly jumped to 1,000,000 PPN. This private island will also allow a business to be run as well as have the same 6 neighborhoods as the other private islands.
The bidding continued into the millions with everyone really laying their PPN bag on the table as birds went from 10 million to 30 million and finally tapped out the most hungry bidder with a final winning bid of 56,000,000 PPN placed by the lucky “ik” who “lost and arm and a leg” and definitely needs to visit the PolyPenthouse.com website to refill their PPN bag
Auction number five was for a Private Island #2
Private islands are pretty sought-after and are definitely something to be proud of owning. The bidders knew this and their bids reflected that. For this auction, Poly Penthouse put up one of the newest additions to the P3 Land Development collection, a Private island #2.
Bidding took off instantly from the 10,000 PPN starting bid and ran into the millions. The lucky bid of 2.5 Million PPN was owned by “Hrtstrings/crustexchange” for their 2nd win of the night!
Auction number six was for another one-of-one Private Island
The sixth auction of the night was for another amazing one-of-one private island with beaches galore and a very swimmable lagoon This again as the other private islands will also have 6 plots and allow for a business.
Bidding started at 10,000 PPN and quickly jumped to the millions. Finally being won by “Bandido8” for 8,500,000 PPN for his first win of the night.
Auction number seven was for another Polygon Ape Punks #4560
As with the bidding of the previous Apes that were sold during this auction, the bidding was again hot for this Ape. Bids started at 20,000 PPN and quickly jumped into the hundreds of thousands of PPN.
The fight was tough and “Hrtstrings/crustexchange” tried their hardest but finally had to give in to “CBS”s bid of 1,600,000 PPN to win this Polygon Ape Punks club Ape.
Auction number eight was for another Private Island #1
The first of the private island editions in the P3 Land Development collection. These #1 islands tend to command a price in the millions of PPN and again this auction was no different.
Bidding started at 20,000 PPN and climbed to 1,500,000 PPN. The lucky winner again was “Hrtstrings/crustexchange” taking home another private island for their collection!
Auction number nine was another Private island #2
If you hadn’t noticed, private islands were a theme in this newest Poly Penthouse auction. Again another edition #2 hit the floor and like last time, everyone wanted this island.
Bidding opened at 20,000 PPN and quickly hit the 100k mark. Bids continued to make that clime and finally landed on 1,000,000 PPN with the final bid placed by “Lunatik ????”. He’ll be adding this nice private island to his ever-growing collection.
Auction number ten was another Private island #1
Hey, what can I say; private islands make people happy, and boy were they happy tonight. Again for the tenth auction another private island #1 was offered to auction.
Bidding opened up at 20,000 PPN and ran its way up to 1,500,000 PPN and was won by “Boss Dog |OG|” for their first win of the night. Again, these islands will have some amazing rewards and abilities for their owners.
Auction number eleven was for an amazing 100 undeveloped land bundle
Undeveloped lands are cool because they will evolve over time and will provide very useful benefits in the game. Having 100 of them is going to really boost your position. Needless to say this auction got everyone excited.
Bids opened at 10,000 PPN and took off like a rocket to hit a mark of 1,500,000 PPN with the final bid from “Handsom Minds”. They now have a pretty impressive P3 Land Development collection!
Auction number twelve was for another 100 undeveloped land bundle
Following the previous land bundle auction was another identical offering of 100 undeveloped P3 Land Development plots.
Within 5 bids the price went from 10,000 PPN to 300,000 PPN and exceed 1,000,000, almost hitting the 2,000,000 mark with a winning bid of 1,650,000 PPN placed by “Crypto_Learned” I’m sure they have some amazing plans in the works for all those lands!
Auction number thirteen was for another one-of-one Private Island
This auction contained a first-ever reveal of this unique one-of-one private island. The only island so far that has what looks to be multiple levels. Certainly a beautiful place and another great place to launch a business.
Bidding opened up at 10,000 PPN and within 3 bids had surpassed 2,000,000 then 5,000,000 then 7,000,000 and finally ended with the winning bid of 8,500,000 PPN by “CBS”. I can’t imagine the value increase on this private island.
Auction number fourteen was for another 100 undeveloped Land bundle
Bidding started at 10,000 PPN and quickly jumped to 500,000 PPN. The bids kept up until everyone gave into “Handsome Minds” bid of 1.01M PPN.
It was an amazing auction hosted both on Twitter and Discord. Many attended the auction, a few won, but we all had a blast and enjoyed everyone's company and got to meet a LOT of new faces who just found out about the unique investment opportunity called The Poly Penthouse Project LLC.
