As the month of May is ending, you may wonder which cryptos to buy when June starts. Finding the right cryptos requires to understand the narratives, i.e., which assumptions the largest investors will believe.
Choosing the right cryptos to buy also depends on your risk appetite:
- Bitcoin and Ethereum seem to be the safest digital assets so far, due to their strong narratives: Bitcoin is a store of value against the inflation, whereas Ethereum is the largest smart contract blockchain generating revenues for Ether (ETH) stakers through the gas fees paid by the numerous users of the multiple decentralized applications (dapps).
- The major ERC-20 tokens created on Ethereum network usually follow ETH trend with a higher volatility. Among them, Lido (LDO) might be an interesting asset since the liquid staking derivatives are among the strongest narratives of Ethereum ecosystem, due to Shapella upgrade.
- Outside of Ethereum ecosystem, it might be worth accumulating the few cryptos for which there has been some good news already without a huge impact yet on their prices. These cryptos include, for example, Cosmos (ATOM) that could benefit from the new shared security model; Solana (SOL) which might benefit from the Android phone launch; Moonbeam (GLMR) that coud benefit from Uniswap protocol arrival.
Due to the latest update regarding GLMR, i.e., the upcoming deployment of Uniswap on Moonbeam, which can be expected around mid-June, GLMR could be one of the fastest growing cryptos in June. However, nothing can be guaranteed in cryptos. Therefore, do your own research and only invest the money that you can afford to lose. Happy crypto investing to everyone!
