Hello and welcome to my new blog about my newest addiction NFTs!! NFTs or Non-Fungible Tokens are nothing new, as they have been around for a few years. But, they are now more popular than ever and even more so to myself who happened to discover this wonderful world recently. I have discovered many utilities for NFTs and I hope to use this blog to showcase many of those wonderful uses.
What is an NFT?
I don't know, I'm just here for the fun stuff! I will leave the technical stuff to the experts. As I learn though I look forward to sharing some of the knowledge I acquire along the way with all of you. Basically, an NFT is a digital crypto token in a sense that is backed by blockchain. Each token is considered an asset with its own unique ID code in a sense that can be used to trace the transactions of the NFT (buying, selling, trading) as well as prove its authentication effortlessly and instantly. Anyone that has ever seen, dealt with, or been ripped off by a knockoff counterfeit sports or trading card knows that this is a very lucrative and rampant market that is a plague to sellers and collectors as well. Someone once described an NFT to me as like a 'digital baseball card." Wow...was he dead wrong. Yes, you can get NFT tokens showcasing your favorite sports stars. Sports cards companies, such as Topps, have been dealing with digital cards for a while now. However, NFTs have the potential to be much, much more. NFTs are pieces of art, an investment for the future, a gateway to playing games, unlocking rewards, and playing songs and video, or even be used to showcase real estate without ever having to leave your couch. They are full of hidden surprises and the blood, sweat, and tears of hardworking, artistic, and gifted men and women around the globe are showcased in their work that millions around the world enjoy on a daily basis.
What will I be showcasing?
Recently, there have been some huge strides in the NFT world. I will be showcasing ways to expand your NFT collection by buying, selling, and trading as well as reviewing some of the most popular companies and NFT products, different ways to store and showoff your NFT collection, different ways to utilize your NFTs, news and highlights, and maybe even a giveaway here and there. I'm sure there will be much more along the way.
