As we know facebook rebranded it’s company a few weeks ago to “meta”, where they will offer a full metaverse experience to everyone and change the way we connect, play, sell/buy and basically live with it. That being said, i noticed that Kalao has a similar goal where do you aim to provide a full immersive metaverse experience to your users as well. So, i was wondering, what will be different, and better, on Kalao than on meta? Now that we have a really big, popular company as meta diving into this metaverse experiences, why should we still choose Kalao as our go to platform? What kind of benefits will we, as your users, be able to get on your platform that has been built with blockchain technology that meta won’t be able to give us?

We started our project end of last year, happy to see Facebook coming to the party. This means we are on something big.
We this news as huge news for all of us as i see it more as an opportunity to partner and benefit from their user base to push adoption. Meta(Facebook) will also need to rely on many third-parties and partners building on various platforms and blockchains. I don’t see them addressing all ecosystems but i see them more building relationships with strong projects (if not buying them as they like to do).
The market is huge with hundreds of use cases (from gaming to ticketing, to live stream to digital commerce). The size of the cake is huge allowing plenty of actors to get in.
Oh, actually. I can add one more thing.

You initially decided to build your project on avalanche? In the past year it was not such a popular blockchain, what did you find so attractive in this chain back then?
Observer:
You should see avalanche working. Avax has just begun its journey 1 year ago and now there are plenty of dapps. They are the fastest and cheapest. Also they are supporting us from day 1. We couldnt find any better match to our vision for Kalao.

Your advanced multiplayers mode is coming in this quarter. I am curious to know what does it offer. Although you have mentioned that it will unlock opportunities for the gaming industry, the digital art scene and the live concert streams, you have not described in detail. Can you give a sneak peek about this mode including the special features attached to it?
Observer:
Our strategy is very simple: replicate as many use cases as possible from real world and offer them virtually to our community. Hence having multiplayers mode allowing interactions betweens users, allowing you to have your human avatar, walking in our galleries or the citadel with your virtual pet while enjoying various activities is what we want to deliver.
Multiplayer mode is still being tested. We’ll share more as soon as we possibly can. I’m not a developer myself but i can easily say that we have an amazing dev team ??

A larger part of your economic model focuses more on how well users can adequately profit and make rewards from using your platform. This is evidently clear with your token distribution, which shows a massive 45% of total tokens dedicated to community rewards. Dwelling primarily on this, can you thoroghly elaborate on the various ways, channels and means by which users can earn and remain profitable? Also, can you fully explain how your community rewards allocation will be properly utilised and allocated over time, and Kalao strive to keep its community properly incentivised and thoroughly engaging?

We have a strong economy allowing our users to earn klo on one side and offering plenty of use cases to spend or stake them on the other side. This was described in a medium we’ve released couple of months ago.
Users will be able to earn Kalao by contributing to the ecosystem: volume based on the marketplace, traffic generated in Kalao vision, in the citadel
Just to clarify, the 45% you mentioned are scheduled to be distributed over 10 years

Ok the citadel is not ready yet and exact details/figures are still being worked on. Indeed you’ll be able to buy or rent virtual spots, spaces. We expect to release the citadel in q1 2022. This will be huge to us and will allow plenty of activities and incentives opportunities to users. Indeed users contributing to the ecosystem and therefore bringing active users/guests is something that will be rewarded somehow
Please think of the citadel of being a complete virtual world which will keep evolving to offer more activities and more services

I found out that one of your major milestone is the launch of Kalao nft marketplace and with this marketplace, we can explore,sell and create nft.i noticed that the medium of payment in your nft is $avax token,so why do you choose $avax token as the medium of payment in your marketplace and not your own token? I also noticed that we can only connect METAMASK in your marketplace,so what about other wallets like trustwallet or other wallets,do you plan to also integrate it in your marketplace? As we can sell and create nft in your marketplace,what will be the profit-sharing when nft will be sold out in Kalao marketplace? Avax was the easiest one to start as soon as possible. We did not want to allow payment in klo before having all klo staking features ready giving incentives to users to hold and stake their tokens to benefit from features. Staking features will come, we’re working on it.
Metamask is obviously not the only wallet we want to offer. We’re already working on adding a few ones. All the obvious ones will be available soon on our marketplace. We are in talks with coin 98 team in the meantime ??

If you sell your nft, we apply 2.5% fees.
If you go for a full collection through Kalaogo (we manage smart contracts, claim process, marketing, etc.), fee will depend on the nature of the collaboration/partnership, the roadmap, value proposition of the project. It will not go over 15%.

What will happen if your platforn will have some sort of cyberattack and users lost their funds somehow due that case? Can you financially back them up somehow after that incident?

We are considering that that option too. This is being worked on
We are not holding any funds. We’re not a custodial service. There’s no risk on that side

While looking your website i saw that “artists can personalize their unique Kalao gallery as they wish, create an event (public or private), and showcase all their artwork.” Therefore, can tell us that without organizing any events the creators can’t sell their items? How the event will be conducted? How much fees is required to create an event? Without creating an event can the users showcase their artworks in their gallery or after organizing an event they are allowed to showcase their artworks? Who will be the audience for their events? And, can you differentiate between the private and public events? Which type of event will be more beneficial for the creator to exhibit their artworks to overall users of Kalao platform? Yes first of all, anyone can showcase their nfts in the gallery without having to organize an event. This can be public or private, up to the users. We’ve released the solution yesterday, please enjoy it ??
Plus, we also want to have the users being able to organize live stream event in our virtual environment. This is not ready yet, this will come together with ticketing framework capabilities. So they can sell tickets (which are nfts) and this will give access to users to the event (webinar, live stream seminar, live concert, anything)
And last but not least, we’re already in discussion with a few artists to organize some events for q1 2022. Cannot disclose it obviously as it’s not finalized yet! But the whole team is very excited about it ????

We just launched our marketplace and Kalao Vision which is our galleries concept. Next step is to make sure we stabilize everything while adding more features on the marketplace. KalaoGo will be released end of november and we will be able to propose you interesting NFTs projects launching on Kalao directly. Staking features is the next milestone. Excellent question! it’s unlimited because you can replicate pretty much everything from real world to virtual environments. The ones we are full speed on right now as we speak is the ticketing framework one with possibility to live stream event directly in our virtual space. I come from luxury industry, I see luxury goods digital commerce evolving in 3 to 5 years time embracing virtual experiences.

Absolutely. We want our community to participate to the development of the ecosystem and we will therefore deliver a DAO concept. users will be able to stake KLO tokens to vote on proposal. above a certain Tier (if staking more than X $KLOs), you’ll also be able to propose features and services for users to vote. Please be also aware that 25% of the fees collected on the platform are being reallocated to a DAO wallet already in preparation of this DAO service
