Luckbox, a licensed esports betting platform, announced today it now allows players to deposit with four different cryptocurrencies.

Along with traditional payment methods, esports fans can make deposits and withdrawals in Bitcoin (BTC) Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), and Litecoin (LTC).

This latest service feature follows the addition of esports stats to Luckbox’s match pages, which also include live streams with a choice of broadcast language and expected rosters.

With Luckbox, esports fans in more than 100 territories can bet real money. Leading games on the platform include CS:GO, League of Legends, Dota 2, Overwatch and more.

Luckbox Token

Last month, Luckbox outlined plans on the roll-out of its own native token, LuckCash (LCK). The token is scheduled to be integrated on the platform for the start of Q2 2020.

LCK will serve a rewards function and will be granted to players in a promotion upon launch. Players will subsequently be able to use LCK to bet on their favorite esports.

“We’re seeing an increasing demand among users to use crypto across the whole iGaming industry and we’re delighted to be able to respond to the preference of our players by providing it as an option. At Luckbox, we’re constantly striving to be at the forefront of innovation, trying new ideas and, of course, we want to give our players as much choice as possible. So, as well as those who want to use credit cards, debit cards, Neteller, Skrill and the other traditional payment methods we offer, we’re now able to cater for those who prefer to deposit in crypto.”

Integrating crypto deposits was made possible through blockchain payment specialist Cryptopay.
