Those who don't live under a rock should have heard of PRESEARCH and Brave, but for those who don't know what I'm talking about, I've put together a brief summary.
Brave
- It is a security and privacy first browser
- It has a native ad blocker
- It's super fast and safes your data volume
- If you activate BRAVE Rewards, on a new tab a little ad will be placed for wich you will be paid in BAT
Presearch
- Presearch safes your privacy
- It has a dark mode
- While searching you are rewarded with Pre-tokens
So what happens when you combine brave and Presearch?
- You will have an adblocker
- Your search results will come up super fast and you will save data volume
- If you want to you will be rewarded in BAT and PRE
- You will keep your privacy
- You can use dark mode
How do I add Presearch to Brave?
Method 1:
This is the easiest method in my opinion. Just click on this link.
Then you click add to brave and that's it.
Method 2:
This method is a bit more complicated. Go to the Brave settings and click on Search engines. Then click Manage search engines and click Add. Give the search engine a name and an abbreviation. Add this as the URL "%spresearch.org/". Then find the newly added search engine in the list, click on the three dots to the right of it and press "Set as default".
You have successfully added Presearch. You can use it now, but if you want to earn PRE you still need to create an account and log in the next time you search for something. Feel free to use my referral link wich will earn you 25 PRE.
