Battle Racers, a new arcade-style racing game in the Decentraland metaverse, is teaming up with CryptoKitties for an exclusive crate sale this week.
According to the announcement, the sale begins on December 11 at 7:00 PM (EST) and will feature 1,200 CryptoKitties-themed parts, enough to build 300 cars. CryptoKitty owners will be able to buy limited-edition crates that contain two random parts from the RoboKitty set for 0.1 ETH. Due to the limited supply, each Ethereum address will only be able to purchase 3 crates.
CryptoKitties-themed parts will be tagged as Season 1 Edition and have a 1.5% chance to be Elite. This sale will not feature any Legendary items.
The Battle Racers team notes that gamers must own at least one CryptoKitty in their METAMASK wallet in order to participate in the sale. All unsold crates from the event will be burned, further increasing the scarcity of the NFTs.
