Don Julio 1942 is a rare collection, and the five cask finishes are available through an online auction on BlockBar.com. The Auction will continue until 10 a.m. EST on June 20, 2024. BlockBar.com combines technology with luxurious spirits, so there is no need to visit an auction event.
The Auction ends at 10:00 AM Eastern Standard Time on June 20, 2024. Also, the bidding price per cask starts at $35,000, and its eligibility is as long as you are of the legal drinking age in your country and at least 18 years of age.

How does the Auction work?
First, you need to create an account on BlockBar. After registering, you can place bids on the casks that suit your interest. The online auction is like regular auctions; you can place bids anytime before closing. When the results are out, the highest bidder gets the cask they bid on and becomes the owner of the limited spirit, Don Julio 1942 expressions.
The winners also attend an event at Tequila Don Julio’s distillery in Mexico. The event provides winners with the production process of these limited spirits. The winners will meet other cask owners to discuss Tequila’s opulent look and feel.
Post-Auction
Tequila Don Julio will remain at the Mexican distillery from December 2024 to March 2025 before blending and bottling. Also, a cask equals a sellable . At the time of bottling, the cask NFTs will change to 40 NFTs. These NFTs will signify ownership of 40 cases of six 750-ml bottles, redeemable worldwide by June 2025.
The Cask finish has a gold icon. Don Julio Gonzalez chose to preserve the bottle form to pay homage to the leaves of the agave plant, which helps make tequila.
